Spirit of Hope MCC

In October 2008 the Board of Directors of Spirit of Hope MCC approved the creation of a shared agreement that will allow the Lesbian Gay Community Center of Kansas City (LGCCKC) to have their own space in our church. In 2010, Spirit of Hope MCC has agreed to make available to the LGCCKC meeting space on an as needed basis, continuing our church's support beyond our walls.  

We hope to create closer connection between the church and our community. Imagine people knowing where our church is located and how it works to serve our community. That means when we talk about MCC more people will immediately know which church we are talking about.

The LGCCKC gave up their rented space in 2008 in hopes of moving out into the community and finding space that was more accessible and friendly.
